Arroyo
Arroyo Etymology: Spanish 1 : a watercourse (as a creek)
in an arid region 2 : a water-carved gully or channel. An arroyo
is an intermittently dry creek.
As I communed with Lord, and I will admit here that I was bemoaning all the
bad, sad, sinful ways, words, activities and things that are sometimes
evident in 'Believers'; In sorrow, after feeling somewhat futile, this rose
up out of me,,, "Lord, I believe what we need is a Holy Ghost gully-washer."
I was then immediatly in vision seeing,,
A dry, very deep and steep sided gully -- an empty river bed, and I heard: 'Arroyo'.
All of the surrounding land was parched, looking to me like some desolate
desert place in New Mexico or Arizona. (see; 'dry places' - Mt. 12:43, & Lk.
11:24)
At the first I only heard and felt the deep rumble of approaching water
before I saw it. Then from around a bend up ahead in the distance of my
viewing came the roaring waters, cascading down this dry bed in huge
white-capped heaps..... and, as I stood in this vision experience so near
these oncoming waters, I gasped ...... and this vision faded, but has not
left me.
"He
opened the rock, and water gushed out; It ran in the dry places like a
river. "

Ps. 105:41 re: Israel in their wilderness journey.
I sensed the Lord saying that what is coming, this gush of toppling Holy
Spirit power, will be so strong that
many Believers will be left gasping in trembling wonderment -- being both
fearful to jump in, though afraid to stay out! Yet those who are
wise will not stay out of His' path
.... The Spirit's power shaking and engulfing activity. The wise will jump
in,,,,, whole man.
"And
it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out
of My Spirit upon all flesh:......" - Acts 2:17a, & Joel
2:28
"The
fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." - Pro. 9:10
Holy expectancy -- keeping ears open for the sound, and hearts attuned for
the tremors,, which shall precede.
